Edith Dohner Fund
The Edith Dohner Memorial Scholarship Fund honors the memory of Edith Dohner, who passed away at age 99 in 2007 after a lifetime of service to her church as a Sunday School teacher and to her family’s business, Dohner Memorials. Edith was a great story teller and had a strong passion for education; therefore, this scholarship is a fitting way to honor her memory.
The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarships to high school seniors at Reading High School who will be continuing their education at a four-year college or university and have a financial need. Applicants must be in the top 25% of their graduating class at Reading High School and intend to attend college to become a school teacher.
To be considered for this scholarship, submit this application between January 15th and March 15th. All applicants will be notified in May.
